As you may know, dandelion KIDS is a big fan of recycling, so when we found these Eco Star Crayons we were delighted! They are made from pure, non-toxic Crayola-brand recycled wax crayons, saving more than 45,000 pounds of broken crayons from landfills. The Crayon Recycling Program provides recycling education to students and employs people with developmental disabilities. Now that’s something to draw about!
These beautiful eco-friendly tree pencils come from sustainable Tamarind trees which are abundant in South East Asia. Tamarind trees are farmed for their fruit and when trimmed the twigs are used to make Eco-Tree Pencils.
