Wednesday Morning Story Time is back!

About Wednesday Morning Story Time: We will be reading a different book from our vast (and growing!) selection of amazing children’s books (http://shop NULL.dandelionkids NULL.ca/read NULL.html) on Wednesdays at 10:30 am at our Port Moody location. Swing by Wednesday mornings… and we’ll read to your child while you can enjoy the book, browse, shop or just daydream. If you like the book we’ve read, you will be able purchase it at a special price on the day of the reading.

We are getting super excited to see all the activities for Italian Day on Commercial Drive this coming Sunday. Last year’s Italian Day was one of the nicest events we’ve seen on The Drive in all these years! Totally family friendly plus, think of all the pizza and gelato…….

Come celebrate ‘all that is Italian’ from Venables to the Grandview cut on Commercial Drive, Vancouver’s original ‘Little Italy’. Join over 50,000 attendees on June 5th 2011 from noon until 8pm as ‘La Dolce Vita’ hits the street in style to include food, entertainment, fashion, specialty products, activities and much more. Share the spirit, pride and tradition as we pay tribute to the Italian community and the contributions made to this city as Vancouver celebrates its 125th birthday and Italians commemorate Italy’s 150th anniversary of unification. Viva l’Italia e benvenuti a tutti!

Studio 32 Photography and dandelion KIDS want to spoil you.

Have you been naughty or nice? Either way, we want to spoil you with a free $225 portrait sitting at Studio 32 Photography after spending $75 (before tax) at dandelion KIDS. Even if you don’t have kids, you could get a beautiful portrait of yourself taken or grab your significant other or gal pals. Now that’s treat!

We’ve witnessed Libby’s friendly, easy-going photo shoots first hand and we just love her. She is so great with people and can make any child smile with delight. Libby set up a Kissing Booth at our shop in Port Moody for the Suter Brook Christmas Event and the pictures are so super adorable. We promise we’ll post them shortly.

Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration at Suter Brook Village this Thursday evening

Please join us for the Suter Brook Village Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration this Thursday, December 3rd from 5:30 – 9:00PM.

A fun and festive evening for you and your family to celebrate the Christmas season by lighting the 35’ Suter Brook Village Christmas tree. Meet Santa Claus, take a ride on the horse-drawn carriage, listen to the sounds of the carolers and enjoy seasonal treats and goodies!

Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Food Bank.
