Yay Spring! We love everything about it – the rain for stomping in puddles, the buds popping through the earth, pretty tulips and daffodils, sunshine for heading off to the park or riding our bikes, and of course, Easter! Try to swing by every Wednesday morning… and we’ll read to your child while you can enjoy the book, browse, shop or just daydream. If you like the book we’ve read, you will be able purchase it at a special price on the day of the reading.

The Kid Should See This has hours and hours of entertaining, educational videos that are “Kid-friendly not-made-for-kids videos for all!” From chemistry experiments to harvesting honey to views of the suns’ surface to zoetropes – and that is just part of what was posted in the last week! Amazing. We especially loved the video about Lil’ Drac shown. Lots of oohs and aahs.

There’s just so much science, nature, music, art, technology, storytelling and assorted good stuff out there that my kids (and maybe your kids) haven’t seen. It’s most likely not stuff that was made for them…

But we don’t underestimate kids around here.
