Have you looked up on Grouse Mountain lately? Have you seen anything different? Something that stands about 65 metres tall?
Work started back in the summer on a massive wind turbine up on the mountain, and we’ve followed along as the huge structure was built. Well, it officially opened this past Friday (February 5th), and will generate 20% of Grouse Mountain’s overall electricity. Pretty cool! Did you know our blog runs on wind power?
