Change is good and we do it well. So, another redesign was necessary in order for us to be able to offer you more of our great products online! Naturally, dandelion KIDS aims to always do our best for you and improve gracefully and we hope you will have patience and understanding should there be any growing pains associated with our new website.
 dandelion KIDS was born over 4 years ago during a causal coffee and chat. We discovered a shared childhood dream - we had both always wanted to have a shop. We were interested in exploring the possibilities of this idea and felt that a children's shop would be the most rewarding. Lemonade, anyone??
Our doors have been open since Winter 2004 on Commercial Drive in Vancouver and, in April 2009, we open our second shop in beautiful Port Moody! We are so excited to be a part of this growing community.
dandelion KIDS bricks and mortar shops are busy neighborhood hot spots where parents from all over the Lower Mainland, not only shop but also stop by to say hello, bump into old friends and make new ones. Our well-edited selection of innovative products is a good balance between local designs and imports from around the world. This has cemented us as a destination for visitors to Vancouver as well.
Although dandelion KIDS is constantly developing, we feel that it already reflects many of the things that we had hoped it would. We choose our products thoughtfully based on how they positively affect a child's well-being and development. We place a strong emphasis on fair trade, organic, sustainable, and recyclable products that are a joy to use both practically and philosophically. We strive to offer well-designed modern kids products for forward thinking parents and those with children in their lives. These elements can be seen in our chic but accessible storefronts and web environments, our high-quality, award-winning, inspiring, and educational toys and our selection of fashion forward clothing and shoes that let kids be as cool and individual as you. Even our shopping bags are biodegradable!
